UNIVERSITAT JAUME I (SPAIN)
It has a wide experience in the management of European Union educative programmes (Jean Monet, Intensive Programmes, Grundtvig and Joint Master Programmes). It has also expertise in the promotion of the employability, training to the students for the use of European recognition tools (i.e. Europass) and developing personalized career guidance. Other relevant areas where it has specific competencies are the extension of services to rural villages and the generation of Open Educational Resources (OER). Also, university associations, as Co-incide, work for the promotion of technogies for local development.
VASILE ALECSANDRI UNIVERSITY OF BACAU (ROMANIA)
This university is part of the consultative group created by North East Regional Development Agency to establish and implement the sustainable development strategy in rural areas. In the same time, the activities of some of its projects imposed a close collaboration with rural area. The experience of the university in European projects permits also to rise and valorize the competences in the area of dissemination. In these sense, this university is specialist in the use of tools like conferences, newsletters, web pages and road campaigns.
ESZTERHAZY KÁROLY EGYETEM (HUNGARY)
This public higher education institution has wide experience in different types of EU-funded projects such as Jean Monnet, Erasmus Intensive Programmes, Leonardo da Vinci Partnerships and CEEPUS. It has a wide co-operation network of more than 40 partner institutions, with an increasing number of partnerships in the framework of Erasmus+. Besides, this university has decades of experience in R&D activities carried out in the field of renewable energies, especially focusing on biomass production and utilization possibilities in rural areas.
UMANS (SPAIN)
Throughout its lifetime, Heliotec has gained extensive experience and technical knowledge in systems based on the use of renewable energy sources, specializing particularly in photovoltaic production systems. Thus, it is considered to be a leading company in the photovoltaic sector in the province of Castellón Heliotec also acts as expert consultant on photovoltaic projects in countries where solar energy is not a mature industry, such as Romania, El Salvador and Algeria. As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, Heliotec collaborates usually with public universities and vocational training centers.
SC GENERAL ELECTRIC (ROMANIA)
This private company was founded in 1994 and has the main activity of designing and executing electrical installations of low, medium and high voltage, automation systems, telecommunication and data transmission. SC General Electric has important clients as Electrica SA, Transelectrica SA, Hidroelectrica SA, Orange SA, LukOil SA, Rompetrol SA, Dedeman SRL, Selgros Cash@Carry, E.ON Moldova, Kaufland Romania and Siemens Romania. In this moment it assures the maintenance activity at the wind park from Vutcani village, finished in 2012 and having 24 MW installed capacity.
GEOLIN (HUNGARY)
Being a spin-off company, members of Geolin Bt are also active in the higher education sector, in the fields of regional and rural development and have numerous publications on biomass-related topics in acknowledged international journals. Geolin is familiar both with EU-funded projects and education-related activities. Geolin Bt is also a member of the European Ecocycles Society, an international NGO dealing with sustainable development and environmental sciences, with special regards of biomass production and utilisation.
